Hello, my name is Mrs. Pineda and I am the fifth grade homeroom teacher, as well as the third-fifth grade Math teacher. This is my fifth year teaching at St. Michael’s and I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students. 

Growing up I spent my summers volunteering at the elementary school I attended. I have previously worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at Cal State Long Beach working with young children where I also obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies and Child Development. 

I absolutely love all aspects of education—both teaching and learning myself. I am very passionate about guiding my students to realize their highest potential and helping them learn the skills necessary to achieve it.
