Hi! I am Mrs Maria Romero and I’m so excited to be starting my fourth year at St Michael’s Catholic School. I am blessed to be teaching 1st and 2nd grade this year! I just moved here from Denver, Colorado where I taught for many years. I look forward to the beautiful weather in Los Angeles.  I currently live with my awesome husband of 20 years, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and our English Bulldog. I love teaching, because our students can make a difference. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Cal State Los Angeles and a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education from The University of Boulder Colorado.  I am so thrilled to be welcomed into this  community and I look forward to a successful school year. My goal for your child is to teach them greatness and kindness while making learning fun.
