Hello! My name is Ms. Leiva and I am the fourth-grade homeroom teacher, the English Language Arts teacher for third through fifth grades, and the Assistant Principal of Intermediate School. I was raised in Los Angeles and received a Catholic education for the majority of my life. I am very pleased to teach in this inspirational learning environment. I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. I received my master's degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University. This is my eleventh year at St. Michael’s School.
I feel extremely blessed to be part of such a wonderful school. I have high hopes for my students and I am excited to work with them in achieving their academic goals. With hard work and effective communication between students, parents, and teachers I believe we can reach positive learning outcomes.
