Beyond the classroom, St. Michael School students have the opportunity to be involved in several extracurricular activities. We believe extracurricular activities play an important role in engaging the whole child: mind, body, and spirit.
These programs foster positive characteristics like faith, fellowship, knowledge, good sportsmanship, and leadership. Each activity operates on a set schedule during the school year. We notify students and families of upcoming activities through announcements on Class Dojo prior to the start of each trimester or athletic season. Either a St. Michael’s staff member or a volunteer leads each of our extracurricular activities.
Some of our activities have included: Student Council, the Ambassador Program, Art Club, Service Club, Tutoring, Aerobics, Yoga, Choir, Guitar, Zumba, Spanish, Bible Club, Academic Decathlon, Gardening, Dance, Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, and Volleyball. Activities may vary from year to year.
In addition to activities, we have an after school Math and Reading Intervention Program to support students who need a little extra help to master the content. If your child is invited to participate in this program, please enroll your child, so your student gets the extra attention needed to strengthen skills and stay on track academically.
