We believe that an education is the greatest gift we can give children to break the cycle of poverty.
To do this, we strive to build self-esteem and personal responsibility, provide a solid educational foundation, and offer guidance and opportunities that empower children. We need your help in order to provide our programs to students whose families struggle to afford a 21st century Catholic school education.

St. Michael’s exists in an area that is beset with inner-city challenges, including: violent crime, drugs, gangs, and unemployment. Founded in 1903, this fully-accredited school educates approximately 300 students.

We strive to educate all children regardless of their family’s ability to pay. While full tuition is $3,420 annually, the actual cost to educate a student is over $5000. Most of our families (about 96%) receive tuition assistance.

Donations from foundations help bridge part of the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each child. However, the majority of families still need additional financial aid. We need your support to consistently provide tuition assistance to financially-fragile families.
